PCA 38th General Assembly 2010: Day 4 (Strategic Plan Passes)
I won't take much time to pass on to you that the Strategic 'Plan' passed today. Most of the afternoon until Midnight was spent going over the plan and voting on it. Almost each vote was 60-40 in favor of each individual part of the plan. Some small parts were voted against, but the main ones were the BCO changes that were proposed. Those passed, which will now go to the Presbyteries for a needed 2/3 approval before they can then come back to the General Assembly for approval.
This indeed was a sad day, especially on the BCO 14 changes that were voted on. Such changes will lead us right back to where we were when the PCA first started; the General Assembly requiring the monies of the lower courts to be given to the higher. Such things are contrary to BCO 25-8, 10, and 11, and also violate our liberty of conscience. It truly is a tragedy, yet as I sit here at his late hour, I must remind myself as a Presbyterian I must submit to the decision of the court and work to overturn such a decision. May the God who is faithful to His people, be faithful to this church, the Presbyterian Church in America. His will be done. May we also repent of our past and present sins of which we were exhorted to this evening.

Isn't Chapter 45 still in the BCO?
